Senior Mechanical Design Engineer 

Due to increased interest in our disruptive technology for smart drilling, we need more open minded and clever engineers.

As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer you will participate in the full development cycle, from early idea maturation through concept feasibility all the way to detailed design and prototype testing. You are well versed in modelling software and know your mechanics theory, but just as much you like to get your hands on the tools in the workshop, assembling prototypes and working out improvements.

Finally, you are very familiar with all the specific challenges and constraints that comes with the downhole tool environment.

Some of your responsibilities will be:

• Conceptual design

• Detailed design and modelling

• Simulations and calculations

• Prototyping and testing

You have experience and knowledge in several of these areas:

​

• New product development processes

• 3D modelling and design

• Downhole tool design

• Well Completion

• Drilling and well operations

• Finite element analysis and calculations

• Materials

​

Ideally you have a Master in Mechanical Engineering with 4 years of experience. However, formal qualifications are less important if you can demonstrate knowledge and skills.
